Living Area — Material Contrast and Flow

The living area is conceived as a continuous, open environment where kitchen and lounge merge without visual interruption. A terracotta-tiled kitchen island becomes the central anchor of the space, introducing a hand-crafted, tactile quality through its rich earthy tone and glossy finish. Above it, spherical brushed-metal pendants create a sculptural rhythm, reflecting light and enhancing depth.

Soft gray plaster walls and matte cabinetry act as a subdued architectural frame, allowing the island, artwork, and furniture to emerge as focal elements. Chevron-patterned wood flooring connects the entire space, adding warmth and movement through its subtle geometry. A modular neutral sofa, conical stools, a geometric metal coffee table, and curated decorative objects complete a composition that balances artistic expression with everyday comfort.

Bathroom — Precision, Texture, and Serenity

The bathroom continues the apartment’s material narrative through clarity and contrast. Sage green mosaic tiles define the shower zone, introducing a refreshing chromatic accent within an otherwise muted envelope of gray plaster and pale wood. The interplay between glossy tiles and matte plaster surfaces creates visual depth without overwhelming the space.

A suspended oak vanity and frameless glass partition maintain spatial continuity and lightness. The circular stone basin and brushed black fixtures provide tactile grounding elements, combining sculptural presence with functional precision. Lighting remains minimal yet expressive: a wall-mounted fixture with a spherical opal diffuser casts soft ambient illumination, while filtered natural light enhances surface texture. The result is a refined, spa-like atmosphere that feels intimate, composed, and timeless.

Conceived as a refined exploration of minimal luxury through material harmony, this apartment transforms a conventional open-plan layout into a carefully orchestrated spatial experience. The design dissolves the boundaries between kitchen, lounge, bedroom, and bathroom, establishing a unified interior language defined by proportion, tactility, and atmospheric precision. Rather than relying on decorative excess, the project builds its identity through the calibrated interaction of surfaces, light, and geometry. Soft gray plaster walls and matte finishes create a calm architectural canvas, allowing richer materials — terracotta tiles, brushed metals, natural oak, stone, and textured fabrics — to introduce warmth, depth, and character.

Contrast operates as a central design tool: glossy and matte finishes interact subtly, cool neutrals are balanced by earthy undertones, and sculptural volumes are offset by floating, visually light elements. Chevron-patterned wooden flooring runs continuously through the apartment, grounding the composition and reinforcing spatial flow. Carefully curated furniture pieces, abstract artworks, and custom lighting elements contribute to a layered yet restrained environment that feels intentional without appearing staged.

Natural daylight plays a decisive role in shaping the experience of the interior. Metallic pendants, polished tiles, and reflective details capture and diffuse light, creating shifting gradients and gentle tonal variations throughout the day. Integrated lighting strategies further emphasize texture and depth after sunset, ensuring continuity of atmosphere from morning to evening. The result is an apartment defined by clarity, balance, and tactile richness — a contemporary interior where minimalism is not austerity, but a deliberate expression of crafted elegance and quiet sophistication.

Bedroom — Calm Proportion and Tactile Luxury

The bedroom embodies the project’s guiding principle of distilled minimalism enriched by material depth. Designed as a serene retreat, the space prioritizes symmetry, proportion, and negative space to enhance clarity and calm. Matte gray plaster walls unify the room with texture, while natural oak finishes in the wardrobe system and shelving create continuity with the living areas.

A brushed metallic bed frame introduces a cool sculptural contrast to the surrounding warmth of wood and textiles. Crisp white bedding, soft curtains, and neutral fabrics maintain a restrained tonal palette. Built-in shelving and a floating console reduce visual weight, preserving openness. Integrated wardrobe lighting and a single pendant with brass detailing add vertical rhythm and warmth, while daylight and reflective surfaces generate subtle tonal variations throughout the day, reinforcing the room’s meditative character.
