A forward-looking urban development mediates between the neighboring detached houses on Tullastrasse and multi-storey residential buildings on Hermann-Quack-Strasse. A lively square with shops and a café in the north-west gives the development an urban feel. The loose, flowing proportions of the buildings with soft edges and the intuitive passageways provide an inviting setting for living in urban greenery for all generations. The new complex mediates between the districts and forms a place of encounter and exchange. Two cross-connections and a longitudinal axis make the path through the new development permeable to the surrounding neighborhoods. The linking of the surrounding uses is thus stimulated and enhanced. All apartments can be accessed barrier-free and are equally age-appropriate and family-friendly. The living space interweaves with the exterior design, whose formal language is based on the soft lines of the buildings. The material and design language become an identity-forming element and ensure that the sustainable residential complex has a supra-regional appeal. Formal accents such as rounded corners in the transition between the volumes create a link between the living space and the softly designed landscape.
