The Würm river acts as a strong connecting element and becomes the backbone of the newly built and developed areas. The design is based on the interlocking, intensification and mediation between these two atmospheric focal points: 1. landscape (riverside area, greenery, with strong vegetation and intensive reference to water) - 2. urban (with high density, spatial proximity and variety of uses) These two atmospheric leitmotifs are interlinked and interrelated along the development. The result is a field of tension between moderate urbanity and a naturally shaped landscape. the planned development opens up towards the banks of the Würm - building mass is concentrated along Gautinger Strasse, which on the one hand has a space-creating effect and at the same time forms a (noise) protective edge along the street. This edge is interrupted by several entrances to the neighborhood and passageways. The result is an exciting interplay between a dense edge and a high degree of openness with an inviting, approachable expression. The increasing dissolution and loosening of the buildings towards the Würm creates the maximum interlocking of building mass with the landscape.
